This recycled sterling silver bangle is 7 mm wide and the landscape takes up 75 mm of each bangle. The landscape is a polished layer of silver which contrasts with the textured background, I love this contrast and it’s one of my most popular combination of finishes. Landscape features like the rail bridge, bandstand, McManus galleries and V&A all have little engraved details on them too and as each one is hand made they differ ever so slightly.
I studied jewellery making in Dundee so it’s only right that I make a bangle celebrating the sunniest city in Scotland, this would make a wonderful graduation gift for someone studying in the area.
Each bangle comes in a black box, a small polishing cloth and a care card with details of the landscape. This is wrapped carefully in tissue so it’s ready to gift to yourself or someone else.
To accurately measure your hand for a bangle, use a flexible measuring tape or slim strip of paper. Touch your little finger to your thumb, so it’s the shape you’d make when putting a bangle over your hand and tightly measure around the widest part of your hand, this should give you a number in CM. Alternatively, measure the diameter in MM of a bangle that fits you well and let me know that measurement. If you match one of my “standard” sizes great, but they can be made to your exact size too; just choose the “order your own size option” and add a note at checkout or email me with your size after you place your order.
