This is a new Arthur’s Seat necklace handmade by me from sterling silver in Edinburgh.
The necklace features the well known Edinburgh city landscape of Arthur’s Seat, what other city has a mountain in it!? Arthur’s seat is hand sawn from a piece of sterling silver sheet that I recycled from my bench off-cuts; melted down and rolled out into sheet. I soldered this on to the round 28 mm diameter disc, also hand melted, rolled and sawn out. The landscape is highly polished (I could see my face in it which is why all the photographs are at an angle!) The background is a matt finish and the reverse is brushed silver as with the backs of all my pieces.
The pendant is 28 mm diameter and threaded on an 18″ chain so it moves freely. It was hallmarked in Edinburgh, the hallmark is on the reverse, as you can see in the photograph
This pieces come in a lovely black Jen Cunningham branded gift box and bag ready to be worn or gifted.
