I am a designer-maker, hand-crafting jewellery in my Edinburgh workshop. Inspired by the landscapes of Ayrshire where I grew up with and the malleable nature of sterling silver I create bold, beautiful jewellery.
I graduated from the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2007, with a BDes (Hons) in Jewellery and Metalwork design. Since then I have been expanding and enhancing my skills. I am known for my bespoke work, taking clients favourite landscapes and creating, rings, earrings, necklaces, bangles and cufflinks. I enjoy using contrast in my work, polished silver with oxidised or textured silver, 18ct gold with sterling silver; but I also enjoy the more subtle contrast of a detailed landscape with a plain backing to allow it to stand out. I use traditional jewellery making skills such as delicate saw piercing to hand-make bold beautiful jewellery.
You can find some of my ready made pieces available to buy now in the online shop you’ll see such landscapes as the Isle of Arran, Arthur’s Seat and the City of Edinburgh Skyline.
I currently live and work in Edinburgh, I have a workshop at The Creative Showroom on Leith Walk. Please contact me if you’d like to get in touch about visiting my studio or commissioning me to make something unique for you.
